A store design that helps customers choose
I design and implement stores around customer decisions. We use real products, variants and content to review categories, product pages and the purchase journey. Redesign work has a defined scope and a plan for relevant URLs and data.

Identify the friction the design should solve
We begin with products and customer questions. Can people distinguish materials and sizes? Are availability and delivery clear at the point of choice? I review specific journeys before proposing visual changes.
Data and user observations can identify areas to investigate, but a heatmap or bounce rate is not a diagnosis. We check content, function and measurement before turning a hypothesis into a rebuild.
Design with actual products and exceptions
Templates are tested with long names, different images, unavailable items and required variant combinations. On mobile, information and controls must remain usable. Accessibility, focus and errors are included.
We define what your team should edit afterwards. Reusable sections and fields need to support the next product or campaign, not just the initial design example.
Possible deliverables
- Review of agreed customer journeys.
- Navigation, category and product-page structure.
- Visual design and reusable sections.
- Implementation in Shopify, WordPress/WooCommerce or a scoped custom system.
- Variant, mobile, accessibility and integration testing.
- Editorial controls and documentation handover.
Preserve what must survive a redesign
For an existing store, we map URLs, product data and important pages first. Moved URLs get relevant destinations. Purchase, payment, delivery and order-data checks are agreed explicitly.
A generic design promise does not include a guaranteed conversion increase. We verify implementation and can agree follow-up measurement. Photography, extensive writing, licences and larger integrations are scoped explicitly.
How it works
Four steps. You know what happens when, and you can stop after any of them.
- 01 / 04
We walk through the job
A 20-30 minute call where you describe what needs to be built or repaired. I ask about platform, access and deadline, and tell you honestly if the job sits outside what I am good at.
- 02 / 04
Review of your code
Small jobs get a price after a short clarification. If a larger existing project needs a technical review first, we agree the price and scope of that review before I open the code.
- 03 / 04
Written quote with a clear scope
You get a firm agreement on what is included, what is not, and when it will be ready. If the scope changes along the way, we deal with it openly instead of letting it drift.
- 04 / 04
Delivery in your own setup
I work in your own repository and your own hosting and deliver in pieces you can see and approve. When we are done, you have the code, the access and documentation that makes you independent of me.

Frequently asked questions
- Can you adapt our current theme?
- Yes. I first examine the theme and the problem. New sections or a focused change may be more appropriate than replacing the entire system.
- Is SEO included in a redesign?
- We agree necessary URL, content and internal-structure checks. A larger SEO audit or ongoing programme has its own scope.
Define the scope of your task
Send your website URL, what you need solved and your desired deadline. I will assess the next step and describe what the quote includes. Larger investigations are agreed separately before work begins.
